Is it easier to change or remove a tattoo?

I have the name of my ex-girlfriend tattooed on my chest. Now that I am engaged my fiancee wants it gone. Would it be easier to cover it with another one or just have it removed all-together?

Definitely changed. Covering it with another one may not be the ideal solution but it'll be cheaper and less painful than getting it removed, which essentially a process of burning or flaying the skin, however advanced a scientific term they want to put on it. Using gestalt imaging, if you change the outline of the words with enough of an addition, you can break up the look of it being a word.
