Best whitening toothpaste?

My teeth are too yellow and it's beginning to affect my confidence. I thought about trying out those teeth whitener treatments and whitening toothpastes, since the professional treatments are pretty pricey. What's the best whitening toothpaste?

Whitening toothpastes and teeth whitening kits do work, but they're not cheap. You'll definitely need one that contains hydrogen peroxide, and this is what I would recommend as the best whitening toothpaste:

http://www.amazon.com/Supersmile-Whitening-System-1-75-Ounce/dp/B000B9ECAE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1333952665&sr=8-1

Check out some of the reviews. Bear in mind, however, that there are different reasons for teeth not being white. A whitening toothpaste like this will definitely help with coffee, smoking and other surface stains, but it wouldn't do anything for someone whose teeth are naturally not that white. The other thing is that they will need to be bought consistently for your teeth to stay consistently white, so in the long-run, it may be more cost-effective to get your teeth professionally whitened, or to have veneers put on.

Here's another tooth whitening treatment that's well-reviewed, but bear in mind the caveats above:

http://www.amazon.com/Crest-Whitestrips-Advanced-Professional-Whitening/dp/B00336EUTK/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1333952933&sr=1-1

Here's a more thorough explanation of what I just described:

As a software executive I’m very much stressed out at my office and home as well. I am very much addicted to the coffee as it is my stress buster. When my boyfriend pointed out, I noticed that Continuous intake of coffee left very bad stains on my teeth. I am very much worried and tried many whitening toothpastes and nothing worked out. My confidence level tended to decrease as I felt very discomfort speaking with my Colleagues and also in conferences. At that time my friend recommended Fluorodine oxygen white toothpaste by Multibrands. I started using that and in few days I felt the difference, slowly stains on my teeth started decreasing and disappeared after few weeks. Now I am very much confident speaking to my colleagues and my Boyfriend is also happy. Thanks to Multibrands for giving my life back.......

I've been using this toothpaste for 5 years! It could be a while, before i go to the dentist and they always say..." you haven't been here for a while, amazinggg! there is hardly any tarter!!" i love this toothpaste. The best thing is as a chronic tea drinker (I drink 4-5 cups a day), Fluorodine toothpaste prevents my teeth from yellowing. Really keeps your teeth clean
