Is a timeshare property really worth it?

I love to travel and I see offers like this all the time. Are timeshare properties really worth investing in? What are some of the more obvious drawbacks or disadvantages?

It depends on your own circumstances. Personally I wouldn't invest in one. First you're paying a large fee up front, which can be quite high. Secondly, there is tons of fine print to read. It's difficult to change weeks, and depending on the company you may be limited on where to go. There are also up-keep fees as well. Overall I think there are better investments out there. In the end though, I'd do more research for your situation and see if it works for you.
