What are the best foods and supplements for preventing Alzheimer’s?

I think Alzheimer's is one of the scariest problems you can develop. Are there certain foods you can eat or supplements you can take to prevent it?

In order to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s, you should be looking to eat foods that reduce inflammation and provide a steady supply of energy. Good suggestions include:

  1. Oily fish such as salmon, mackerel and tuna (which are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids.) You can also take supplements if you prefer.
  2. Tea and coffee (especially green tea.)
  3. Dark chocolate (which increases the blood flow to the brain.) You should also be aware though that dark chocolate is also high in saturated fats.
  4. Modest quantities of red wine (the bad news is that it can also cause dementia if consumed in excess.)
  5. Nuts (in moderation as they can also be high in calories.)
  6. Ginger and turmeric.
  7. Apples, red onions, raspberries and cranberries (which contain quercetin, which protects the brain from damage associated with Alzheimer’s.)

Suggested supplements to prevent the risk of Alzheimer’s include:

  1. Folic acid (natural food sources high in folic acid include broccoli, cauliflower, lentils and asparagus.)
  2. Vitamins B12, D and E.
  3. Magnesium.
  4. Fish Oil.
  5. Ginkgo Biloba.
  6. Coenzyme Q10.

I help people for a living and yes...scaring topic! Seems like it's bigger now then long ago.. Stay away from anything with Aspartame! Diet drinks, light yogurt...check labels. I have been with a company called Reliv for 8 years now because of my crazy health results and I hear great stores with Alzheimer's. They have the best nutritional products I have come across. And no guessing....the work is all done...just shake, drink and your done! I have herd story's with almost about everything there is out there...MS, CANCER, BACK PAIN, MIGRAINES, ARTHRITIS, ECT......give me a chance to show you. https//:hopeforhealth.reliv.com
