Because every guy is different and factors such as age and libido have to be accounted for, I don’t think there is an official average. I did read somewhere though that the average guy masturbates once a week, but I do it at least twice a day and mine hasn't dropped off yet.
The average male will supposedly want sex every 1 - 3 days, so on that basis, once a day is definitely fine.
