None. Once you make eye contact with her, smile and hold it for a few seconds and then go in and say something like "Hi I just had to come over and talk to you I'm _".

One day you will grow out of pickup lines and realize the more natural, minimal and sincere approach actually gets you more. This does not mean being a little bitch, there is a difference.

Also, there's always the anti-opener:

"oh my god you have such beautiful eyes... can I touch them?"

The trick is to start with a super cheesy line that most guys would use then totally ruin it with something weird and unexpected. It relieves the tension and shows you don't take yourself too seriously. Always gets a good laugh, try it

I'm female and my all time favorite pick up line was "are you portable?" and I said "what?" and he said "because I just want to scoop you up and carry you with me." Also if you've seen the commercial where the guy makes the phone ringing noise and opens a coke and says "hello?" and then hands it to the girl and says "its for you" I think that would work on me and lots of other women too

As far as i go i just keep it simple you know "Hi i think you're pretty :)" that normaly works... The best pick up line (that i use when i cant figure anything else out) of all go-to's has to be Joey Tribiani (Friends) "How you doin'" That's a good panik line...

As I see it you have two basic options:

1. Something situational about the environment, where you are, or something she's doing/wearing or...
2. "Hey."

What you say doesn't really matter, and neither does her initial reaction. It's your reaction to her reaction that really matters, and this is where a lot of guys overthink it trying to be funny/witty/alpha. Just be cool and get to know her- it really is that simple.

I saw this one & just had to answer, LOL... At 21 I had enough confidence not to carry an ammunition belt full of pickup lines, I used only one:

"I sure would like to get into your britches".

That called for a simple yes or no answer, and you'd be surprised how many times it worked.

The easiest way to get a girl's attention and break the ice can often be as simple as making an observation/comment about the surroundings or (if you're astute enough) an item of her clothing. The opener itself becomes generally mundane after it is used, as most people will forget what you say long after how you said it.

The trick with any opener is to display confidence and intention. Calibrate based on the situation, and remember; eye contact, clear voice, confident body language, and smile.

Even asking the time can be used as a bridge to prompt further conversation and flirting. Say you're sitting at a table in the library and there's a cute girl nearby. Often the simplest of openers can have the most positive effects, providing you can carry on the conversation once the ice has been broken. Remember, character gets girls, not pick-up lines.

No shit actually got laid with this one:

You're so beautiful i could drink your bathwater.

Her reply was "I don't take baths, but you can lick the dregs off me in the shower"

That is possibly the worst line that has ever gotten me laid, the boys and i used to go out and play worst pickupline game and we found that on the whole, anything works (as long as its not a REAL generic line) and its just about how you say it and present yourself.

There were a few more terrible ones i cant think of right now, but these we used, with mostly warm welcomes. If you don't feel comfortable using these what I found when coaching was that guys would do better with their own lines.

For example: You see a girl in a yellow poker-dot dress, so what comes to mind straight away, lets say that straight away you think yellow dress-yellow coat- paddington bear. So now already you have a pickupline and a thread of conversation to work off.

You know when i saw your yellow dress it reminded me of a story i used to read when i was young pause, do you remember paddington bear? From this example you could have hit an emotional point in her mind (grandparents reading to her) otherwise you have a quirky topic to go off.

The point is, go out and even if you dont feel comfortable using them just yet, look at a girl for 2 seconds and give yourself 10 seconds to make up a line and thread :D
